Before I had a space to record in, I used to load up my Ford Econoline Van and record bands at their house or practice space. Travelling countless times across Canada spending sometimes up to a month in one city. This was just before studios started dropping their rates. Before everyone had a laptop and a microphone. Even before the internet!!
High points for me was recording at a cottage in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Recording vocals on the dock overlooking the lake as the sun was going down is a memory I’ll keep forever!! Magical times.
Ok, back to reality.
Because of how compact my gear is, I can come to your house, set up in about and hour and be recording your songs. As long as the coffee is strong and the neighbours are forgiving, we’re in business!!
